Paul Brooks

Paul is a veteran of more than 30 years of directing sales, marketing, business development and venture creation programs in diverse industries. He has held executive positions in markets such as imaging devices, communications equipment, enterprise software, equipment leasing, and the performing arts, and has extensive experience in general management as the executive director of two very different non-profits.

He served as executive director of one of the leading business incubators in New York State, held elected office in a local municipality, and founded a marketing communications firm serving a diverse client mix.

Paul’s background is extensive in leadership and team building as well as network creation for purposes of business growth. For many years Paul has mentored entrepreneurs to create and advance their businesses and offers guidance in the areas of venture creation, business planning, financial modeling, and angel and venture funding.

Hannah Reece

Hannah Reece provides no-cost business advising services to entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners throughout Madison County through her role as Director of The Hub.

She supports ventures at all stages—from idea to launch and growth—by connecting them with funding opportunities, personalized mentorship, training programs, and a trusted network of local subject matter experts.

Hannah brings a unique blend of creative and strategic experience to her advising. She is the founder of a Waldorf Forest School and Lioness Chocolate Co., an artisan bean-to-bar chocolate company rooted in ethical sourcing. Her work spans education, arts entrepreneurship, rural community development, and innovation ecosystems. She has represented cacao farmers at origin in the ethical trade industry and previously led startup acceleration efforts with defense tech innovators through the Air Force Research Lab.

Driven by a passion for helping visionaries bring their ventures to life, Hannah leads The Hub in fostering inclusive entrepreneurial growth across the region.
